Bert Hansen

Bert Hansen, at the young age of 38, passed away during the early morning of May 7. At the time of death he was on disability, however it never stopped him from helping anyone he could and was always ready to help.

Bert was born in Powell, Wyo., February 9, 1982, to Gary and June Hansen. At a young age the family moved to Helena, Mont. He attended schools in Helena, Vaughn and Lincoln, Mont. As an adult he moved to Washington where he resided for the last 12 years, with the exception of spending a few years in Klamath, Calif. His home was in Lacrosse, Wash.

Bert was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved dirt biking, 4-wheelers, fishing and camping.

He became a true "Clamper Brother" seven years ago. A fantastic group of men who would ride motorbikes and look out for women and children who needed help, even if was only to rescue someone broke down on the side of the road.

Bert was preceeded in death by his grandparents; also his brother, Benjamin, in 2018.

He is survived by his mother June Bailey Hansen of Lacrosse, Wash., and father, Gary Hansen of Great Falls, Mont.; sister, Robin Hansen and family of Great Falls; brother, Daniel Hansen of Salt Lake, Utah; son, Jacob of Crescent City, Calif.; daughter, Sydney Hansen of Helena, Mont.; and many friends.

Bert has been cremated and the service is currently pending.
