Carothers Road MRW Facility Remodel

Sealed Bids for the Whitman County Carothers Road MRW Building Remodel Project will be received in paper copy form by Whitman County Board of County Commissioners, State of Washington, at its office in the Whitman County Courthouse in Colfax, WA until 11 am local time, on Monday, June 15, 2020, at which time all bids will be opened and publicly read. Any bids received after the specified time will not be considered, regardless of the reason. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders for a list of items that are required in the bid.

Each bid shall be separately sealed in an envelope and clearly marked with the name of the Bidder and the project name on the outside of the envelope. NO FACSIMILIES OR EMAILS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Handicap access to the Whitman County Courthouse is available at the Mill Street entrance.

Bidding Documents may be obtained by contacting Brandon Johnson at the Whitman County Department of Public Works - (509) 397-5216 or brandon.johnson@whitmancounty.net, and being placed on the Bidder's List. After contacting Brandon Johnson, it is the Bidder's responsibility to follow-up with him to ensure Bidder receives the complete Bidding Documents.

Bidders are strongly encouraged to make an appointment with David Nails to visit the project site at the Carothers Road Solid Waste Facility (252 Landfill Road, Pullman, WA 99163). A more thorough note to bidders is included at the front end of the bidding documents, and serves as the complete Notice. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the actual Bid Opening.

The Endicott School District No. 308, Whitman County, Washington, has completed preparation of a Capital Projects Fund budget extension for fiscal year 2019-2020. The completed budget extension is on file in the school district administration office located at 308 School Drive, Endicott, WA. A copy of the budget will be furnished to any person at the above address.

The Board of Directors of Endicott School District No. 308, Whitman County, WA will meet in a public meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., for the purpose of adopting the 2019-2020 Capital Projects Fund budget extension.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

That a public hearing will be held via conference call by the Town Council, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, starting at 7:30 p.m. The hearing will be available via call-in conference phone number by contacting Rosalia Town Hall (509-523-5911) or the Town website at http://www.townofrosalia.net for log-in information prior to the meeting. The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons.
