Palouse park opens, Mayor outlines restrictions

PALOUSE – Palouse will opened Hayton-Greene Park on May 5. Restrooms at Hayton-Greene and Heritage park will remain closed until further notice. Mayor Chris Cook urged citizens to adhere to the following guidelines outlined by Governor Jay Inslee:

Anyone exhibiting any cold or flu-like symptoms shall not participate in outdoor recreation activities.

Limit your recreation partners to only those who live within your household unit.

People must recreate locally: Do not travel farther than necessary and do not stay overnight to recreate.
