Volunteers recognized during National Volunteer Week

Stacey Claussen at The Courtyard in Colfax receives sewn masks from Olivia Knott, 10, of Colfax. Knott made 92 masks as a community service project with help from MaryBeth Howell of Palouse for Colfax police, fire, EMS, The Courtyard, Rosauers and the Sheriff's Office.
PULLMAN – National Volunteer Week, April 19-25, is an opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society's greatest challenges, build stronger communities and be a force that transforms the world.
