Volunteers recognized during National Volunteer Week

Stacey Claussen at The Courtyard in Colfax receives sewn masks from Olivia Knott, 10, of Colfax. Knott made 92 masks as a community service project with help from MaryBeth Howell of Palouse for Colfax police, fire, EMS, The Courtyard, Rosauers and the Sheriff's Office.

PULLMAN – National Volunteer Week, April 19-25, is an opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society's greatest challenges, build stronger communities and be a force that transforms the world. The Pullman Police Department recognized three volunteers and is fortunate to have dedicated, professional volunteer personnel, who generously contribute their time and talents to ensure the safety and well-being of the Pullman community.
