Mary Jo Robinson

Mary Jo Robinson, DO, passed away at her home in Azle, Texas, on March 23, 2020.

She was born in Spokane, Wash., to Jerry Lee Robinson and Ann Brodie Robinson on May 26, 1954. Her grandparents were Mr. And Mrs. Ray Robinson of Pasco, Wash., and Mr. And Mrs John Brodie of Colfax, Wash.

Born into a military family, she lived in many places around the world including Okinawa, Germany, Aberdeen, Md., and Fort Lewis, Wash. She graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., and Des Moines University - College of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa.

Mary Jo became a distinguished Associate Professor of Pathology at several Universities including UNTHSC -TCOM in Fort Worth, where she was employed at the time of her death. Mary Jo was a loving, generous daughter, sister, aunt and niece to her family and a devoted friend to all who knew her.

She is survived by her brothers, Michael Robinson, Portland, Ore., Bruce Robinson, Tacoma, Wash., Carl Foster, Lakewood, Wash .; and sister, Frances Delmas of Azle, Texas. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Mr. And Mrs. Tommy Earls of Azle, Texas, and Mr. And Mrs. Michael Brodie of St. Paul, Minn .; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held at a later date in Tacoma, Wash. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice or to alzheimers.org or Lewy Body Association.org.
