The Coug Store

20% OF FRIDAY'S COUG STORE PURCHASES TO BE DONATED TO PULLMAN REGIONAL HOSPITAL'S COVID-19 FUND

Press Release

March 26, 2020

PULLMAN, Wash. — If you’re a Washington State University alumnus/alumna, student, professor, administrator, family member or fan, consider making a purchase of officially licensed WSU Cougars merchandise online at cougstore.com this Friday, March 27.

The Coug Store, based in Pullman, temporarily closed its physical doors in adherence with Washington State’s shelter-in-place orders, but is keeping business going virtually at cougstore.com. All orders are being hand-packed and shipped out by the company president, former Pullman Chamber of Commerce president, Tony Poston. He’s including free goodies in every order, like magnets, stickers and hand-written notes with jokes.

The Coug Store is passionate about supporting the Pullman community and will be donating 20% of its Friday purchases to a local cause beginning this week. The first cause they’re thrilled to support is the COVID-19 Pullman Regional Hospital Fund. They are working hard to keep the Pullman community healthy and safe, but they are experiencing a shortage of both supplies and revenue. When you shop with The Coug Store, a portion of every single purchase goes back to Washington State University, as all products and apparel are officially licensed, but when you shop this Friday, you’ll not only

be supporting WSU and small local business, but an incredible team of medical workers on the frontline of this global pandemic.

Shop Friday, March 27 between midnight and 11:59 p.m. at cougstore.com.
