Shrek Jr. cast announced

Inland Empire Theatre cast its fourth annual production, Shrek Jr., to be performed June 19-21 at the historic Tekoa Empire Theatre. The production features a cast of 53 youth from communities around the Palouse.

Daphne Jacobs (Rosalia) and Levi Fletcher (Tekoa) will star in the production as Princess Fiona and Shrek the ogre. Collin Pittmann, executive artistic director, and founder of IET, said Shrek Jr. is a family-friendly musical comedy that audiences will love.

“We know people will be ogre-the-moon excited see it on stage right here in the Palouse.”

Tickets go on sale April 1 at 9 a.m. via IET’s website http://www.inlandempiretheatre.com.

Pittmann encourages people to get their tickets early, as he says “It’s not a matter of if the production will sell out, but when.”

Pittman also confirmed the production dates are still in place as rehearsals and show dates are outside the times set for closures and expects group restrictions.
