Mt. St. Helens - Then & Now

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington, an event that was the worst US volcanic disaster in recorded history. Geologist Sheila Alfsen (MAT, GIT) will bring the event back to life detailing its onset and eruption sequence in two free presentations.

The presentation is at the Whitman County Library in Colfax on April 25 at 10 a.m. and Ritz Theatre on April 24 at 7 p.m, 107 E. Main, Ritzville.
