Commissioners approve truck chassis buy

County commissioners approved Monday the purchase of a 66,000-pound truck chassis, from a single bid of $124,886, not including dump-body options, submitted by Freightliner Northwest of Spokane.

It will be used as a plow truck/dump truck by the Public Works department.

Final cost estimate for the fully-equipped truck will be $196,340 plus tax.
