Diane Rodeen

Diane Marie (Lewis) Rodeen, 78, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, in Colfax, Wash.

Diane was born in Genessee, Idaho, on May 7, 1941. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1959. Diane and her husband, Rich Rodeen, were married for 58 years, and lived in Colfax, while raising their family. They have four daughters: Lori, Christy, Kerry and Trista. Additional survivors include her brother, Denny Lewis, of Spokane, Wash., four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Prior to retiring, Diane enjoyed many years working as a florist, and continued that tradition by lovingly arranging flowers for family weddings, church and community events.

Throughout her life, Diane was very involved in the Catholic Church. She was a member of Catholic Daughters, Altar Society, the folk choir and taught CCD classes to the 2nd grade students preparing for first communion. Another favorite time in her life was when she was a school bus driver. She loved meeting the children and their families on her route. She enjoyed making the bus rides entertaining by wearing fun hats, providing regular snacks, and special holiday treats.

The family is certain their beloved Wife, Mother and Nana, was welcomed by daughter Christy's loving arms into the heavenly family.

A service was held on Saturday, February 15, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The family suggests donations in her honor be made to the local Alzheimer's Association.
