Planning commission forwards marijuana code for review

The Whitman County Planning Commission has decided on a new marijuana code/ordinance, which is now being reviewed by the office of the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) – after which it will go before a local public hearing March 18.

Ultimately, any new code or ordinance would require approval from county commissioners.
