Five will compete for Gar/Pal Distinguished Young Woman

High school juniors Tovah Brantner, Paige Collier, Olivia Knauff, Rachel Meeuwsen and Rielee Renne' will participate in the Distinguished Young Women of Garfield-Palouse program. The program's theme is "A Roaring Good Time," and will be hosted on Sunday, March 15, at 4 p.m. in the Garfield school cafeteria. Participants will compete for more than $1,700 in college scholarships and the opportunity to represent the communities of Garfield and Palouse at the state level program, hosted in Pullman, with the opportunity to become the Distinguished Young Woman of Washington.
