Bulldog girls fend off Bronc rally for win

Colfax girls fought off a last quarter rally by the Broncos to take a big win at Ritzville Tuesday night. The Bulldogs stacked a 29-18 lead in the first half and then held on while the lead was gradually erased and the hosts came within range in the final seconds.

Down by just two points with 11 seconds left on the clock, the Broncos had possession of the ball to tie it up.

Instead, Skylre Sakamoto-Howell, who had a big night for Colfax, came up with the ball and burned out the balance of the clock time.
