Pullman Depot Heritage Center receives $4,450 chamber grant

Pullman Chamber and Visitor Center has awarded a $4,450 grant to the Pullman Depot Heritage Center. The funds will be used for the project to equip the depot's freight with modern technology to tell Pullman's story. The technology will be used for evening talks, community events and other activities.

The grant was bestowed through the chamber's Community Investment Committee to enhance Pullman through activities related to Pullman 2040 initiatives.

The Committee accepts and reviews grant applications for funding needs that seek a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $10,000.

Funds are awarded in five key areas including community & identity, education & learning, growth & development, health & safety and recreation & environment.
