Washington State Department of Transportation staff considered all relevant environmental and social aspects for the construction of truck climbing lanes a four locations for the Dusty to Colfax segment of State Route (SR) 26. This project is located in Whitman County, WA on SR 26. The truck climbing lanes are located within general milepost limits of 123.14 to 124.03 Eastbound, 123.50 to 124.88 Westbound, 126.97 to 128.74 Eastbound, and 130.57 to 131.94. Using State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC), we reviewed a complete environmental checklist and other relevant information on file. We concluded this action will not have probable significant adverse impacts on the environment resulting from its continued use. We have issued a DNS for the proposal. The Palouse-Rock Lake Conservation District

adopted Resolution #38 at their November 19, 2019 Special Board Meeting in order to hold an election for a board position on the Palouse-Rock Lake Conservation District Board. The Pole Site Election will be held on January 22, 2020 at the St. John Community Building, 304 W. Front Street, in St. John Washington. Polls open at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 2:00 p.m. Registered voters who reside within the conservation district boundary are eligible to vote. The candidate filing deadline is December 24, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Supervisors serve without compensation but are eligible to be reimbursed for appropriate expenses. The Board of Supervisors provide guidance and direction, as well a set policy for the conservation district. Election procedures are available at the district office or at the State Conservation Commission. Absentee Ballots are available upon request for eligible voters by contacting the district office by January 2, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. All ballots must be returned to the polling location by the Election Day. 50/2
