Lois Olmstead pens 6th novel

LaCrosse author Lois Olmstead, who writes as L.A. Malby, has published a sixth novel, “Shadows Over Sugar Time.”

“Writing a novel in 30 days is a major challenge, especially if the writer hasn’t a clue what to write about,” she commented.

Shadows is the fourth in her Sugar Time Series.

Olmstead enjoys writing among the Palouse Hills in Eastern Washington.

“I love the nurturing hills, the stillness and the lushness of the earth,” Olmstead said.
