Colfax Rotary auction nets $3,505

Colfax Rotary club conducted its annual Christmas auction at last Thursday's meeting and raised $3,505. The Rotary event began with each member bringing a wrapped gift. The gifts are distributed among the members and each purchased on a bid. After the initial round the gifts are opened, and members can bid to buy out another member’s gift.

Sixty percent of the proceeds from the auction go to the Firemen's Toybox, and 40 percent to the Giving Tree.
