Dahmen Barn plans Holiday open house

Dahmen Barn in Uniontown will host a holiday open house, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The public can join in the festivities, sample local food products and enjoy a holiday themed exhibit of work by more than 20 resident artists along with an expanded gift shop that will offer specialty food for the season.

There are opportunities to sign up for door prizes that will be given out each day.

"We are happy to create a custom gift basket using local and regional gifts. We are always on the search for new locally-produced food to offer, as well as unique, wonderful one-of-a-kind hand crafted gifts," said Julie Hartwig, Dahmen Barn manager.

Children and families are also invited to enjoy hot cocoa and cookies with Santa Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Artisans at the Dahmen Barn is a 501C3 non-profit art organization, and is open Thursday – Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
