Thursday, Dec. 5

Colfax – 3 to 7 p.m. – Winterfest & Santa – Festival of Trees, free hot cocoa, lighted parade, fireworks, store specials and more. Santa will hear children’s gift requests at the library from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Tekoa Empire Theater – 3 p.m. – HOOT – Kids and families learn about the incredible world of birds of prey.

Malden – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Kid Hangout – Calling all kids for computers, games, crafts and snacks.

Rosalia – 6:30 p.m. – Starting a Healthy Backyard Beehive – Enjoy this talk with hobbyist beekeeper, Charlene Puree, and get your questions answered about keeping bees yourself.

Friday, Dec. 6

Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John, Uniontown – Storytime – Bring the kiddos for stories and playtime.

Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Bring your children for playtime and socialization.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Writers’ Working Group – All skill levels and interests are welcome to share their work.

Saturday, Dec. 7

Palouse Community Center – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Craft & Bake Sale – Enjoy the Roundtable’s festive sale.

LaCrosse – 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. – Santa & Ornament Making – Visit with Santa and make an ornament.

Oakesdale – 11 a.m. – Let’s Make a Gingerbread House – The library will provide all the supplies for you to design and create a masterpiece! Sign up at 509-285-4310.

Monday, Dec. 9

Colton – 10:30 a.m. – Storytime – Bring your children for early learning fun.

Farmington & Rosalia – Storytime – Help your child develop early literacy skills and a love of books.
