Grandstand "cubby holes" sealed off

Palouse Empire Fair Administrator Bill Tensfeld reported to the fair board Oct. 28 that he has made arrangements with supplier of the fair's new grandstand to seal off "cubby holes" which resulted from installation of the fair's new grandstand last summer. The cubby holes beneath the grandstand appeared after installation of the three middle stairwells in the structure's design.

Although the fair received congratulations and compliments for the grandstand project, they also received complaints from parents who noted the cubby holes attract youngsters.
