NOTICE OF FINAL BUDGET HEARING TOWN OF LACROSSE, WASHINGTON

The Final 2020 Budget Hearing will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at the LaCrosse Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the proposed Budget may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office during normal business hours from the date of publication of this notice until November 14, 2019. is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit. The proposed project, Community Action Center Riverview Apt., is located at 1155 SE Bypass Drive in Pullman in Whitman County. This project involves 10.44 acres of soil disturbance for Residential construction activities. The receiving waterbody is South Fork Palouse River. Any persons desiring to present their views to the Washington State Department of Ecology regarding this Application, or interested in Ecology’s action on this Application, may notify Ecology in writing no later than 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. Ecology reviews public comments and considers whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable change in receiving water quality, and, if so, whether the project is necessary and in the overriding public interest according to Tier II anti-degradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.

Ordinance No. 636

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF OAKESDALE, WASHINGTON, annexing certain territory and incorporating the same within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Oakesdale.

PREMISES:

A. A written petition has been presented to the Town Council by ROBERTA HARPER requesting the annexation to the Town of the territory which is the subject of this ordinance. The petitioner is the owner of 100% in value, according to the assessed valuation for general taxation, of the territory.

B. A public hearing before the Town Council was held on 11-04-19, 2019; notice of the hearing was published and posted as required by law.

C. The requested annexation is in the best interests of the Town, and will promote the general welfare of the residents of the Town.

NOW THEREFORE, BE lT HEREBY ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Oakesdale as follows:

Section 1. There is hereby annexed to the Town of Oakesdale, and incorporated within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Oakesdale, the following territory adjoining the present corporate boundaries of the Town, to-wit:

Lots 1 & 2, Block 1, Roberts Addition to Oakesdale, according to plat thereof, recorded in Volume C of Plats, page 13, records of Whitman County, Washington. EXCEPT the west 50 feet of said Lot 1.

Section 2. The corporate limits of the Town of Oakesdale are hereby extended and increased so as to include the above-described territory within the corporate limits of the Town of Oakesdale.

Section 3. The jurisdiction and effect of all ordinances of the Town, as well as the Town's comprehensive plan, are extended to the above-described territory. I

Section 4. A map of the above-described territory is attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT “A.”

Section 5. The petitioner shall pay to the Town the cost of publishing and posting the notice for this annexation.

Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after November 12, 2019.
