Colfax, LaCrosse, Tekoa – Storytime – Songs, games, stories and crafts are all part of the fun at storytime.

Colfax, Colton, Garfield, Rosalia, St. John – Trick-or-Treat – Bring the whole family for trick-or-treating fun!

Oakesdale – 5 to 7 p.m. – Halloween carnival games – Families are invited to play fun fall games.

Friday, Nov. 1

Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John, Uniontown – Storytime – Bring the kiddos for stories and playtime.

Colfax – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & learn – Bring your kids for play and socializing, drop-in anytime.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Writer’s Working Group – All skill levels and interests are welcome to share their work.

Saturday, Nov. 2

Rosalia – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Census 2020 hiring fair – Learn about temporary and supervisor positions. Questions? Call 855-562-2020.

Monday, Nov. 4

Garfield – 1 to 5 p.m. – Medicare help – Join SHIBA volunteers for free and impartial information.

Endicott – 4 to 8 p.m. – Virtual reality – Draw in 3D, play with a robot, see a T-Rex up close, and more.

LaCrosse – 6:30 p.m. – Book Club – Join us for an engaging discussion.

Farmington & Rosalia – Storytime – Help your child develop early literacy skills and a love of books.

Colfax – 11 a.m. – Friends of Library meeting – Come see what being a friend is all about.

Tekoa – 3 to 4 p.m. – Cookies for teens – Meet up with friends and check in on what’s new at the library.

Endicott – 9 to 11 a.m. – Virtual reality – Immerse yourself and explore virtual worlds.

Tekoa – 6:30 p.m. – Gold Mine History – Author, Dean Heitt, shares a historical presentation on the Carlin Trend vein of gold including the people who lived and worked there.

Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Writer’s Working Group – Join local writers to discuss relevant topics and challenges.

Wednesday, November 6

Colfax & Malden – Adult exercise classes – Get fit at your library.

Albion & Malden – Afterschool fun – Head to the library after school for learning and fun.

Garfield – 12 to 2:30 p.m. – Crafternoon – Let’s get crafty and make a fall Pinterest project together.

Endicott – 9 to 11 a.m. – Virtual reality – Visit any city on Earth, fly to the Moon, and more. Must be 13+.

Colfax – 6 p.m. – Gold Mine History – Join Geologist, Dean Heitt, for a historical talk on the Carlin Gold Trend.

Tekoa – 7 to 8:30 p.m. – Bunco night – Bunco is easy to learn and a great way to meet new people.

Thursday, November 7

Malden – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Kid hangout – Calling all kids for computers, games, crafts, and snacks.

Endicott School – 3:15 p.m. – Science Club – Tinker tech time with Whitman County STEM librarians.

Colfax – 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. – 65+ fitness class – Stay active and independent for life, suggested $1 per class.
