Jerilee Stanton

Jerilee Stanton, Colfax resident for 27 years, died of cancer, Oct. 3 at her home in Colfax at the age of 73.

Born June 2, 1946, to Gerald and Rhea Brandon Douglas in Riverside, Calif., she attended schools in Riverside and graduated from Poly High School. She attended Riverside City College where she studied dental hygiene.

She and Richard Stanton were married in October of 1973 at Riverside, and they had two sons. The family moved to Colfax in October of 1992, and she worked several jobs in advertising and sales in the area.

Their son, Devin died in 2013.

Surviving are her husband, Dick, and a son, Shea, at the family home in Colfax.

Bruning Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. A service is not planned at this time.
