Veteran assembly set at Garfield

The annual Garfield Veteran's Day assembly will be Nov. 8 at the Garfield/Palouse Middle School gym at 9:30 a.m. Keynote speaker is Sgt. Ozzie Knezkovich, U.S. Army, retired.

Featured singers will be the Garfield/Palouse High School Wind Ensemble with “And Evermore Shall Be,” the Garfield/Palouse/Oakesdale singers with “Thank You Soldiers” and Jim Swobody singing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

A reception for veterans and guests will follow in the gym....
