that the Whitman County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. The hearing will take place in the Whitman County Commissioners’ Chambers, Courthouse, Colfax, Washington for the proposed adoption of revisions to: Chapter 9.00 – Critical Areas A complete text of the proposed ordinance is available by contacting the Clerk of the Board at (509) 397-5246. Any interested individuals may attend said hearing and speak for or against the proposed revision. Arrangements will be made to accommodate questions and provide responses to non-English speaking residents. Upon receiving 24 hours’ advance notice, the County will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special groups of citizens, including those who are physically disabled or otherwise impaired. Malden Town Council

has moved their regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting in November to Tuesday November 12th. It will be located at the Malden Library and will start following the Public Hearing for the 2020 Final Budget. 43/1

The Malden Town Council is changing their Public Hearing for the 2020 Final Budget due to changing the date of the regular Council Meeting. The Malden Town Council will take comments concerning the 2020 Final Budget during a Public Hearing that will be held on Tuesday November 12th, starting at 7:00pm. 43/2

ORDINANCE NO. 395 2019-10

RCW 84.55.120

WHEREAS, the Town of LaCrosse has met and considered its budget for the calendar year 2020; and, WHEREAS, the districts actual levy amount from the previous year was $34,968; and, WHERAS, the population of this district is less than 10,000; and now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the taxing district that an increase in the regular property tax levy is hereby authorized for the levy to be collected in the 2020 tax year. The dollar amount of the increase over the actual levy amount from the previous year shall be $ 349.00 which is a percentage increase of 1% from the previous year. This increase is exclusive of additional revenue resulting from new construction, improvements to property, newly constructed wind turbines, any increase in the value of state assessed property, any annexations that have occurred and refunds made. Adopted by the Town Council this 10th day of October, 2019.
