Oakesdale downs Prescott after setback at Pomeroy

Oakesdale volleyball players Tuesday downed Prescott in three straight to get back on the win side. The match win left the Nighthawks at 6-1 in SE league play after they sustained a loss at Pomeroy in the Thursday round.

Pomeroy remains undefeated and moved to the top of the league with the Thursday win.

They downed Oakesdale 25-20, 25-22 and 25-22. They came back to win the third game after the ‘hawks had battled to a 20-13 lead.

Tuesday, Oakesdale stopped Prescott 25-8, 25-9 and 25-23.

Jessie Reed hit five aces and led with 15 digs. LouEllen Reed booked 11 assists and Bella Henly had 10. Gianna Anderson hit nine kills, and Anderson, Bree Rawls and Kaylee Hinnenkamp each booked a block in the short match.
