WI Symphony will feature American composers

Washington Idaho Symphony will feature a celebration of American Composers in its upcoming concert. The second concert of the season will also highlight tubaist Dr. Chris Dickey and actor Matt Maw.

The concert will be at Pullman High School Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. and at Clarkston High School Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. General admission is $25, student cost $15 with a limited amount of free tickets for WSU, UI and LCSC students with ID and for youths, 12-18, cost $10. Children under 12 are admitted free.

The program includes Overture to Candide (Leonard Bernstein), Concertino for Tuba and Strings (Arthur Frackenpohl) – featuring Soloist Dr. Chris Dickey, Tuba Casey at the Bat (Randol Alan Bass) - featuring actor Matthew Maw, narrator Symphony No. 2 (Howard Hanson).
