Palouse CD to join statewide Orca Recovery Day Oct. 18

Palouse Conservation District will join other organizations across Washington State to host more than 40 events, Oct. 19 on “Orca Recovery Day” aimed at improving conditions for critically endangered southern resident orca whales.

Interested volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at the district office in the WSU Technology Park at 1615 NE Eastgate Blvd, Suite H in Pullman. Carpool will provide rides from the office to the Bill Chipman Trail along the Pullman-Moscow Highway. Tools and gloves will be provided.
