Kimberling given sentence

Kent Kimberling, 61, Garfield, pleaded no contest in superior court Friday to a charge of felony harassment with a threat to kill and was sentenced to a maximum of 90 days in jail. Kimberling was allowed credit for time served in jail and allowed credit for good time.

Depending on the good time compilation, his release from custody could have been Sunday.

District Court Judge John Hart banned Kimberling for possession of any firearms. He also ordered him to undergo a mental health evaluation and follow recommendations for compliance with the evaluation.
