Commissioners hear report on area housing assessment

The Palouse Regional Housing Assessment was presented Monday by Brian Points, project manager, and Paul Kimmel, Avista's regional business manager, to county commissioners.

The Palouse Regional Housing study began nine months ago by The Partnership for Economic Prosperity who hired Thomas P. Miller & Associates to conduct the assessment.

Points began by saying how this project was managed in the economic development organization because housing is an economic development issue.
