Virtual Reality sessions slated at four libraries

Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset with 14 different 3D experiences makes its way to the Oakesdale, Garfield, Rosalia and St. John branches of Whitman County Library this month. Complete a mission on the International Space Station, visit National Parks or magical worlds all without leaving the library.

Virtual Reality programming is made possible through Washington State Library "VR in Libraries" project.

VR sessions at the Oakesdale Library will be Oct. 7 from 3:30-6 p.m. Call 509-285-4310 to make an appointment.

VR sessions at Garfield Library will be Oct. 16, 1:30-2:30 p.m. and Oct. 18, 5:30-7 p.m. Call 509-635-1490 to schedule an appointment.

VR sessions at Rosalia Library will be Oct. 22, 12-2 p.m. and 3-7:00 p.m., Oct. 23 and 24, 5-9 p.m. Call 509-523-3109 to schedule an appointment.

VR sessions at St. John Library will be Oct. 30, 1-6 p.m. Call 509-648-3319 to schedule an appointment.
