Thursday, Oct. 3

Colfax – 3 p.m. – 1st Thursday – Fish painting, virtual reality, building fun, voter registration, art and more!

Colfax – 7 p.m. – Baha’i presentation & discussion – Interested community members are invited to hear Dr. Peter Haug and Debbie Kadlec’s multimedia talk titled, “Stewardship of the Earth: Spiritual Imperatives.”

Friday, Oct. 4

Endicott, Malden, Palouse, St. John, Uniontown – Storytime – Bring the kiddos for stories and playtime!

Malden – 12:30 to 2 p.m. – Caregiver support group – Support and resources for those caring for loved ones.

St. John – 1 p.m. – Writer’s working group – All skill levels and interests are welcome.

Garfield – 7 p.m. – Kids’ choice movie night – The votes are in, see what film won! Popcorn provided.

Saturday, Oct. 5

Rosalia – Rural reporting project – Share your thoughts and ideas for news features with journalism students.

Colfax – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong – Contact Whitman Medical at 397-3435 for details. (Available Oct. 5 & 6)

Monday, Oct. 7

Oakesdale – 3:30 to 6 p.m. – Virtual reality – Visit any city on Earth, go to Mars, and more! Must be 13+.

Garfield – 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Middle school study hall – Bring a friend to work on homework together.

LaCrosse – 6:30 p.m. – Book club – Join friends and neighbors for an interesting literary discussion.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

Farmington & Rosalia – Storytime – Help your child develop early literacy skills and a love of books.

Colfax – 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. – 65+ fitness class – Stay active and independent for life, suggested $1 per class.

Colfax – 4 to 4:30 p.m. – WSU’s Butch meet & greet – You know him, you love him...It’s Butch T. Cougar!

Wednesday, Oct. 9

Tekoa – 3 p.m. – Cookies for teens – Stop in for a sweet treat and join in some teen activities.

Uniontown – 3:30 p.m. – Roominates – Kids ages 8+ can build their dream home with Roominates kits!

Malden & Uniontown – Adult craft night – Get creative and relax with friends.

Colfax – 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Intro to ukulele – Register at 509-279-6030 or pick up a form at the Colfax Library.

Thursday, Oct. 10

Colfax, LaCrosse, Tekoa – Storytime – Songs, games, stories, and crafts are all part of the fun at storytime!

Tekoa – 1 to 5:30 p.m. – Computer help – Stop by with your basic computer, social media or other questions.

Colton – 3:30 p.m. – Roominates – Kids ages 8+ can build their dream home with Roominates kits!

St. John Rialto – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia night – Bring your team, test your knowledge and win free stuff!

Colfax – 6 to 7:30 p.m. – Prime time family reading – Families with children ages 6 – 10 will engage in the joy of reading and learning together. Six weekly sessions including a meal. Call 397-4366 to register.

Colfax – 7 p.m. – Richard Scheuerman talk – Enjoy the illustrated presentation “In the Wake of Lewis & Clark: John Mullan and the Northern Overland Road.”

Rosalia – 7 p.m. – Book Club – Join us for a discussion of our latest book club selection.
