Oakesdale wins V-ball opener

Oakesdale volleyball team rolled to Waitsburg Tuesday and booked a sweep. They booked the win with 25-16, 25-14 and 25-6.

It was the first match for the Nighthawks under Coach McKinzie Turner who was hired to take the coaching spot vacated by Brandy Brown.

LouEllen Reed rapped six aces and had 24 assists against the Cardinals. Payton Davis rapped 10 kills and Lauryn Rawls had six blocks. Jessie Reed finish with nine digs.
