Monte Meierotto

Monte E. Meierotto, 63, died Sept. 1, 2019, at his home in Colfax. Born Dec. 29, 1955, to Fred and Ruby Darling Meierotto, Monte grew up in Washington state and attended college, worked for the Boeing Co. and drove trucks during the harvest season. He came to Pullman where he met and married Kathleen Bevans McDonald. They made Pullman their home until eventually moving to Colfax. Monte drove school bus for the Pullman School District for years until his retirement. He liked to go camping and fish for sturgeon.

Surviving are his parents, his wife at their home; step-children, Kelly Demand and Brandon Bevans; seven grandchildren, and a brother, Greg Meierotto. There will be no public services held at this time.
