Wednesday, Sept. 12, will be an eventful day in Colfax. The most speedy wheelmen of Oregon, Washington and Idaho will be here on that day to compete in the races for the northwest championships. Crack riders from Portland, the Sound and Spokane will fight for supremacy on the cinder track, and our home talent will certainly make itself recognized by the experts from abroad.

Among the prizes offered are two elegant gold watches, three solid gold medals, silver water pitcher and stand, silver shaving mug and brush, cuckoo clock, and a score of other hands...
