Brentwood farm hand

Dellene Broeckel Burdsall, Brentwood, Calif., spent 10 days helping her brother Ed Broeckel, Dusty, with his harvest operation. She drove bankout wagon. She returned to her California home on Aug. 9.

Joan Broeckel took advantage of a short break in harvest, waiting for the spring wheat to fully ripen, to drive to Burlington, to visit her mother and sister. She left Saturday and returned home Tuesday.
