Lentil Festival announces lineup of musical acts

The National Lentil Festival will be the live music hot spot of the Palouse Aug. 16 and 17 as musicians from across the nation come to shake up the Hometown Chevy Main Stage, which will be located at Spring Street Park next to the former WSU steam plant.
The weekend of free music will kick off Friday, Aug. 16, at 5 p.m. with Eric Shedd, playing on the cooking demo stage, sponsored by Pullman radio stations.
Aaron Cerutti hits the stage at 5:30 p.m., sponsored by Hometown Chevy Dealers. Cerutti is a country music singer/songwriter from Clarkston. He has shared the stage with big names in country such as Tara Thompson, Lonestar, Blackhawk and Uncle Kracker.
Following Aaron Cerutti on the main stage will be Melodime at 6:35 p.m. The band, based in Virginia, plays with influences in both country and rock, utilizing energetic guitar solos for a dynamic, organic sound.
After Melodime, Brown & Gray will take the stage with their music that bridges the soul of country music to the new boom of country in the United Kingdom. Sam Gray and Kaci Brown will play from 7:55 to 9:15 p.m.
Clare Dunn, named “One to Watch” by USA Today, Billboard, The Boston Globe and Rolling Stone because of her powerful vocals and unparalleled guitar playing. Dunn is the final performer of the night Aug. 16.
Andru Gomez and the Bad Apples will play at 12:50 p.m. to start off the last day of the fest, with their music rooted in Indie Americana and rock.
The Fabulous Kingpins will come on to rock the stage at 2:10 p.m.
Closing out this year’s festival will be the Talbott Brothers at 3:30 p.m. The Talbott Brothers combine harmonies with storytelling and melodies to form an alternative blend of folk, rock and blues.
