Josh Bergman, WSECU customer relations coordinator, recently dropped off tablets for grand prizes for teen and adult readers with Colfax library staffers Sheri Miller and Sarah Phelan. The summer reading programs for teens and adults across Whitman County runs through the end of August. Those completing the program will receive a small gift from their local branch while also earning chances at grand prizes, including HD Fire tablets donated by WSECU, a gift basket from WSU and Webb's Slough race passes. Children completing the program can submit their reading logs through Aug. 16 to earn a free book and pizza certificate. Summer reading programs are made possible by support from donations from businesses, individuals and Friends of the Library.
