Baseball season ends for AAA Pullman Patriots

The summer’s baseball run for the Pullman Patriots came to an end Saturday at Jackson field in Spokane when they were eliminated at the district playoffs with the last of three straight losses. The loss ended a bid for a return to the state Legion finals which will be in Bellingham this year.

Last year, when the Patriots went to district after team members revived local Legion action here at the AAA level, the Patriots bagged a state entry and rolled on to the state finals at Chehalis where they booked a 1-2 record to cap the revival year.
