Lincoln to read at Neill library

Pullman City Administrator Adam Lincoln will be the next aloud reader in Neill Library’s Heritage addition as part of the 2019 summer reading program. Young children and their families/caregivers are invited to join him next Thursday, July 18, from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Pre-registration is not required for the free program.

Puppetree performances

Friends of Neill Public Library will present an educational performance by Kelly Campbell’s KC Puppetree which she started 2013 with a dream to produce and create original puppet plays out of re-used objects.

Her program features lively and friendly puppets made out of reclaimed objects.

Performances will be Tuesday, July 23, at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the library’s Heritage Addition.

Knitting circle start

A knitting circle for people who like to knit or crochet will be Tuesdays, starting July 23, in the Colfax Library’s meeting room from 1 to 3 p.m. “Knitwits” are encouraged to bring a project or start a new one, All levels of knitters and crocheters welcome.

‘Bridges Home’ set at Dahmen

Dahmen Barn summer concert series will feature Bridges Home July 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. Bridges Home consists of Tami and Dave Gunter, lead vocalists and multi-instrumentalists who share roots-based original Celtic and Americana music.

They perform an array of musical styles from high-energy Celtic, old-time Bluegrass, lowdown Delta blues, Americana roots music and Irish ballads.

Admission will be $15.

Knight, Ruby Anne, born in July to Rebecca Cordoba and James Knight, Lewiston, Idaho. Paternal grandparent is Vicki McKee, Eureka, Montana. Maternal grandparents are Patricia Madden, Olympia, and Brad Stewart, Lewiston. Baby joins brother Jorge, 15, brother Isaiah, 13, brother Benjamin, 8, sister Isabella, 5, brother Ethan, 5, and brother Maximus, 1.
