Volunteers install assist ramps

In mid-June, volunteers from Palouse Habitat for Humanity, Moscow Lions' Club and Garfield American Legion installed a ramp at the home of a Whitman County veteran. The program that installs pre-fab semi-assist ramps is a three-way partnership which includes Palouse Habitat, the Moscow Lions and the Disability Action Center. Brent Bradberry, Habitat volunteer, reported that the group has installed six ramps in the past year and is now installing one about every six weeks.
