Ready for the next big alarm

Two-year-old Rhett Sterman of Colfax takes the wheel of Wimpy, the oldest truck in the Colfax fire department's collection which was on display at the Perkins House Ice Cream Social in Colfax on Sunday. Rhett's dad, Ryan, is a Colfax firefighter and mom, Aly, a volunteer firefighter. The annual event of the Whitman County Historical Society brought out about 350 people for the afternoon.
