Downtown ducks get crossing assist

Ducks crossed Main Street on Thursday with the help of concerned citizens who stopped traffic for them. The mother and her chicks were first observed making their way down the middle of Wall Street. They were ushered across four lanes of Main Street, continued down Wall, turned right and went north on the west alley, crossed Upton and were last seen going behind where the Steve's Glass building meets the wall of the flood control channel.
