Lindsey Miller, Caleb Hannas exchange vows at Hooper

 

Lindsey Grace Miller, daughter of Terry and Tawnja Miller, Hay/LaCrosse, and Caleb Hannas, son of Dave and Sharon Hannas, Hooper, were married May 25 in Hooper Park. Pastor John Cross conducted the ceremony. The park was decorated with burlap, lace, sunflowers and baby's breath.

The bride was given away by her father.

Molly Dillworth was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Breidenbach, sister-in-law of bride, Jessica Guske, Chelsie Kneale, Leanne Lustig and Kendall Vasek.

Best man was Lane Hannas, brother of groom. Groomsmen were Justin Ziebel, brother of groom, Lestin Miller, brother of bride, Jake Aune, Gradey Gfeller and Ty Holloway. Ushers were Braden Miller and Landen Miller, brothers of the bride, and Dustin Broeckel.

Flower girl was Gracie Schwartz and the ring bearer was Bennett Repp.

Violinist was Amber Hauvermale. Lindsey's aunt, Melody Miller, and cousin, Mercedes Miller, sang a special song during the candle-lighting ceremony which included a candle passed from grandparents of the bride and groom, to parents and then to the wedding couple.

The cross was built by Lindsey's dad from an old beam that was used to support cattle corals at Hay and came down a couple years ago in a storm.

Lindsey graduated with the LaCrosse High School Class of 2014 and from WSU in 2019 with a degree in animal science. Caleb graduated from the LaCrosse High School Class of 2012 and attended WWCC majoring in crop production and livestock management.

The newlyweds are now residing near Johnson. She is employed at Palouse Animal Wellness and Surgery in Moscow, and he is employed at VICO in Colton.
