Port of Whitman sells Pullman parcel

Sale of a parcel of land in the Pullman Industrial Park by the Port of Whitman was recorded Thursday in a real estate transfer tax affidavit filed in the county treasurer's office. The parcel, identified as lot 8 in Pullman Industrial Park, was purchased by Daniel Merry of Billings, Mont., for $450,000, according to the affidavit.

Size of the lot is 3.69 acres. Pullman city utilities and road access adjoin the site.

Port of Whitman has developed the industrial park on a lease or sale basis. One of the port’s first customers at the park was Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.
