'Wheel of Lentils' set for festival stage

Chef L.J. Klink, original Rock Star Chef, will kick off Lentil Festival in true rock star style Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the cooking demo stage.

Klink in 2011 won the “Ice House” episode of Extreme Chef on Food Network. Klink was the director of Richland’s Community College culinary arts institute and full-time tenured professor.

Klink and the lentil festival will bring a new game, "Wheel of Lentils," to the demo stage. It will be mix of “Wheel of Fortune” and “Chopped.”

Following up on Saturday, Aug. 17, the stage will feature live cooking demos from three of the Pacific Northwest’s top chefs....
