Family pets perish in Pullman home fire

At 10:30 a.m., Pullman Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 1100 block of Professional Mall Boulevard. The fire department arrived to find the single-wide mobile home full of smoke. Crews made entry into the structure and extinguished the fire soon after arriving.

Deputy Fire Marshal Tony Nuttman led the investigation into the cause of the blaze. The fire was determined to have started in the kitchen and spread into the living room.
