Colfax jazz band wraps up competition run

Colfax Jazz Band wrapped up its spring season with a concert last Thursday in the high school gym. The band performed here after placing second in its division at the Mt. Hood Community College Jazz Festival in Gresham, Ore., May 4. They competed with six other bands in their age group. The second-place finish at Mt. Hood followed a second-place posted in their division at the Columbia Basin College in Pasco.
