Leonard and Tracy Mathia of Garfield have been married for almost 38 years. Meeting while Leonard was on his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they had to wait until he had returned from his mission to marry. Six weeks later, they were married.

"It seems fast, but we knew we were meant to be, a still, small voice told me," Tracy said.

They now have six biological children and have adopted many in-need children throughout the years. They not only gave them a home, but a family as well. The last count of grandchildren was 24.
