Louise Waterman Keck

A memorial service for Louise Waterman Keck, 81, will be at the Nazarene Church in Princeton, Idaho, on Saturday, May 11, at 1 p.m. Mrs. Keck died at her home in Potlatch last Wednesday, May 1, 2019, after complications from Alzheimer's Disease.

Born in Troy, Idaho, July 12, 1937, to Pastor Al and Dona Waterman, she moved with her family to Moscow, Idaho, and met her husband, Arlen Keck, in high school.

They started their family young and together built their business, Keck Logging. They made their home in Potlatch, and she was involved with her children's interests, Camp Fire, Cub Scouts, ballet and various sports activities.

They hosted a Bible study in their home for many years. They took many family vacations to Indio, Calif., and spent summer weekends at Lake Coeur d'Alene.

The last 10 years of her life were quiet due to Alzheimer's Disease.

Louise and Arlen were married for 66 years.

Surviving in additon to her husband are her children Kellie and Ron Glaze and Charley Keck; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and brothers Jim (Barb) Waterman and David Waterman. She was preceded in death by infant son, Casey.
